Carie Boyd's Semaglutide - Key Points
API:
Our suspension is compounded exclusively with the commercially available Rybelsus tablets to ensure that your patients are receiving the only FDA approved form of Semaglutide available on the market. Other compounders are typically not using a USP listed Semaglutide and instead use a salt form which is cheaper and improves their profits. The formulation for sublingual route offers a direct pathway by surpassing the gastrointestinal tract, which can often impede the bioavailability of medications. The availability of this new dosage form promises to provide convenience and increased compliance in weight loss management.
Base:
We are using the newly developed SubMagna sublingual base specific for the molecular weight and characteristics of semaglutide. It has a self-emulsifying and permeation enhancing property designed to handle the drug for sublingual administration. Other compounders often use an older base which is cheaper and more profitable but less affective in absorption.
Dosing:
Begin with a dose of 0.5mg sublingual daily for 2-3 weeks and increase to 1 mg daily as tolerated.
Storage Information:
The medication should be stored at room temperature and protected from direct light.
Shipping:
We ship to all 50 states. The product can be delivered to the office or to the patient.
