Formula 82F contains Minoxidil, Finasteride, Fluocinolone, and other proprietary ingredients that improve its overall effectiveness and usability. Finasteride works by decreasing the production of Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in tissues in the scalp. It has been approved as a treatment for hair loss in the US since 1997.
Ingredients:
- Minoxidil (5%) – A medication used for the treatment of hair loss. As an active metabolite, it has been shown in studies to stimulate hair growth.
- Tretinoin (0.01%) – This medication has been shown to enhance the absorption of minoxidil through the skin, resulting in the promotion of hair growth.
- Fluocinolone Acetonide (0.01%) – A corticosteroid that has been shown to promote hair growth.
- Finasteride (0.25%) – A medication that inhibits the production of the DHT hormone that causes hair loss.
Basic Properties:
Non-sticky, propylene glycol-free base
Standard Usage:
Apply drops to affected scalp areas in the morning and in the evening.
Each 15ml of product typically lasts patients one week. Noticeable results are usually seen after 2-3 months. Suggested initial Rx is 120ml or 180ml, a 2 or 3-month supply.
