Progesterone Troche is a compounded medication formulated to be absorbed by the oral mucosa between the cheek and gum. The product is available in a 100 mg or 200 mg strength. Prescription is required.
Progesterone troches contain the well-known ingredient progesterone. The progesterone used in these tablets is derived from plants, is bioidentical to endogenous hormones, and is commonly considered for use in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT).
