Founded in March 1978 by Carie Boyd, R.Ph, Carie Boyd’s Compounding Pharmacy is a full-service pharmacy dedicated to the preparation of compounded medications. Compounding is the art and science of preparing customized medications designed for individual needs. With over 60 years of combined compounding experience, our staff has established a reputation among physicians by providing medications and advice that make a difference in the lives of their patients.
Carie Boyd’s Compounding Pharmacy uses only the highest quality active ingredients in every order, prepared to your physician’s exact specifications. We ensure a timely response on each order and can assist in obtaining reimbursement from your insurance provider. Our pharmacy accepts over 200 national insurance plans which can be filed on-line before the prescription is filled. Prescriptions can be phoned or faxed to Carie Boyd’s Compounding Pharmacy by a licensed healthcare practitioner; prescription refills and transfers are available on our website.

Shipping, Payment and Insurance
Delivery Options
For your convenience we offer shipping options. Because US Mail cannot be tracked, therefore our shipping method is UPS.
Regular Ground Packages ship for $8.50
Packages that require shipment with icepacks will ship for $12.00. Those packages must be sent to a location where a person can sign for them, and immediately put them in the refrigerator. After a package has been sent Carie Boyd’s Pharmacy is not liable for any shipping delays caused by UPS or someone not being home to sign for the package
If there is a rush needed on the package the price will vary based on the weight, location, and expedience required.
Payment
Terms are Credit Card or COD. A COD fee will be added to each COD shipment.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card
There is no surcharge added to credit card orders
We will not charge your credit card until we ship
Prescription Insurance
Carie Boyd’s Prescription Shop will directly bill your insurance possible whenever possible.
If the company does not allow us to directly bill them for a compounded prescription we can give you a compound reimbursement form to submit yourself for repayment from your insurance provider.
Return Policy
Carie Boyd’s Prescription Shop Pharmacy has a “No return policy” on all custom compounded medications, commercially available prescriptions and supplements. Once a medication has left the pharmacy by any method, the cost of the medication will not be refunded, and cannot be accepted for re-use.
Compounded medications are customized to your doctor’s exact specifications for you and cannot be reused.
